Dr. Nirmal Kilambi was born and raised in Fayetteville, AR. His parents are both retired from the University of Arkansas and still reside in Fayetteville. He, along with his two older brothers, had a wonderful upbringing in which the importance of family, education and community involvement were emphasized.

He attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and went on to medical school at UAMS in Little Rock. He married his wife, Cherie, also a graduate from the University of Arkansas, while in medical school. After he finished his residency at the University of Mississippi in Jackson in 2001, Dr. Kilambi and his wife decided to return to Arkansas to practice medicine.

While in a successful partnership in Hot Springs, Cherie’s hometown, they had three wonderful children. Accepting the opportunity to come back to Fayetteville and join the Northwest Arkansas Urology Associates group in May 2007, Dr. Kilambi and his wife are making new memories with a new generation of Kilambis in the community.

Dr. Kilambi is interested in all aspects of urology and has always offered the latest treatments in urologic care to his patients and will continue to do so. He strives to achieve excellent surgical outcomes through the most minimally invasive means possible, utilizing specialized training in robotics, laparoscopy, cryosurgery, lasers and other technologies and techniques. Dr. Kilambi is especially proud to be home and involved in the community that his family has been part of for over 50 years.
