I went there for a vasectomy. Dr. Collin’s was absolutely amazing. I read so many info about recovery. I felt great and taking care of by all staff from the reception, to nurses, to Dr. I wade sure to be reassured of the process going in into the actual procedure. It was a step by step process so I would know the next phase. It has been hours after procedure and I feel amazingly good. I felt a lil discomfort after coming home but rest a bit it feels good. No soreness. AAA+++++

Dr. Brecklebaum is awesome. He is a brilliant mind and you are lucky to have him in NWA. The problem that he is facing in my opinion is that your practice is far too large and you’re processing people like cattle. Just think how it would be to have a brilliant mind, taking care of prostate cancer or other serious issues, with enough time to give you. Overall, the practice is saturated with people to the point of incompetence. That said. Dr. Brekelbaum is a shining star in your organization and he is the only reason that I stay with your group.

I have been to several urologists in the area. I always left feeling like they hadn't listened to a single word I was saying. My mom recommended going to Dr. Brecklebaum and at first I was skeptical. I am SO glad I took my mother's advice. Dr. Brecklebaum listened, he didn't rush me out of the room or start trying to walk out before I asked ALL the questions. He listened, he answered, he came up with a manageable solution. During my follow up, he did the same thing. He LISTENED. He wasn't rude or a pompous jerk/know it all like I have encountered with others. He provided feedback and provided answers. I have had multiple and recurring UTIs/Bladder infections my entire life. I usually would get them at LEAST 1-2 times per month. Now.....I have only had 1 in 3 months (and I was able to figure out why and treat at home). I have found my forever urologist!

Great doctor, but I they don’t ever refill my prescriptions, we have to call them. The system you use is letting my needs fall through the cracks. I need my prescriptions renewed right now. It ran out and the pharmacy says nothing from NW!

I had an appointment a few days ago..but forgot it. The girl who helped me make the appointment assured me thar she would send a reminder text and the directions to the office. I have not heard a word. I called three times and left a message requested that Dr replace oxibutin with something else. For weeks I tried to contact your office. No answer. When I left messages, I got Zero response. Dr Hurt prescribed Vesicare to replace the Oxibutin. I have take. Vesicare in the past. It does not help. It works less than. The oxibutin. Over the years I have taken everything imagineable...no help. The surgery did not take care of the problem. As you might understand I am saddened and disappointed. Now there is no medicine to take cars of this. And I cannot get any answer or response from anyone in the office. I am just so weary of this situation. And when I can't get an answer to my phone messages..it just multiplies the frustration.

Dr. Hurts has offered a solution to a very serious problem in my life. Incontinence is much more than annoying, it has altered my life and made it unbearable at times. My pants and shoes get soaked as well as anything else that is next to me such as my bed, the car seat, the chair etc. It is for this reason that I am taking a gamble that the wire mesh he puts in me will work to alleviate my symptoms.

He took the time to listen to me. A lot of doctors just rush you through and don’t listen to you anymore. I felt like he was interested in helping me figure out what’s going on and not just assuming what is wrong to rush me out.

Excellent doctor and staff!! Fixed my prolapsed bladder and rectum through robotic surgery and used glue instead of sutures on incisions which healed quickly and painlessly! I also have very little urinary urgency, which is a big plus!! I can now sleep 6-7 hours without having to get up in the night!! I’m a happy camper!! So pleased!

Dr. Breckelbaum is truly different. He reviews the history on every patient before the appointment. Not just current conditions and meds, but HISTORY. He also has intelligence. There are lots of doctors, as in all professions, that are truly lacking in this area. Add the fact that he truly cares about his patients and you have a healer that is a rare commodity these days.

My experience with Dr. Jason Hurt was very positive. I felt extremely comfortable in his care due to his knowledge, confidence, and guidance in my situation, and when having my surgery. Everyone on his surgical team has the utmost respect for him, enjoyed working with him, and it certainly gave me the assurance that I was in good hands.

Experience was fine. Perhaps a little more involved than I expected but I did not know what to expect. The whole process was extremely overwhelming, so for the most part I put my faith in doctors and did what I was told. I like the idea of being able to live a few more years. We will see.

I have never as in NEVER been treated so poorly by nurses, staff and doctor. I was left in a freezing room hanging on to a procedure chair for over an hour. The camera for the procedure was not working. After 30 minutes a receptionist fixed it. I’m hanging in chair, exposed,only cover a paper sheet. I told 3 people I was freezing. No response except for “ the air conditioner has to be on in this room.” Dr K did not explain procedure properly and I was left a crying mess. It was excruciating painful . As a very retired critical care nurse, I can honestly say this day was inexcusable. I’m still in pain and Dr said before he departed ,”to make sure you take AZO. You’ll need it. “ I feel like I have literally been torn apart.

Short waiting period, staff and doctor are friendly and open-minded. I came here for a vasectomy and got exactly what I was looking for. Dr. Brekelbaum explained the procedure and risks and made sure I knew what I was getting into before proceeding. After hearing so many stories about other urologists gatekeeping the vasectomy process, I was nervous about being turned away at first, but I'm happy to say I didn't have anything to worry about!

Dr. Hurt was wonderful! The whole experience would have been even better if we didn't have to drive 83 miles each way each time I needed to see him. He took the time to answer any questions I had, which explains the wait from time to time since he obviously gives all his patients all the time they need (which is a good thing). My last visit I waited in the exam room for about an hour (which is ok under the circumstances), but by the time he got there, I was tired and couldn't remember all that I needed to talk to him about. I had very little pain from the surgical procedure and the incisions are healing so quickly! I was happy that he was agreeable to using glue on the incisions rather than staples or stitches. I had very little pain because of this. I would recommend Dr. Hurt to anyone needing this type of surgery!! What I would not recommend is the hospital that we chose to use. I am not from the area, so I didn't know anything about the area hospitals. The surgical team was great, but the staff that was supposed to take care of me once I went to a room was subpar!

Not ever having this experience before, I don’t have much to go on regarding protocol. The procedure(s) definitely were not a walk in the park. A stint is a rather simple concept, however; I am sure this stent system was devised in hell. The pain that I experienced was non-stop, and the pain after removal was initially no better. Am sure with a bit more time that too will dissipate. I can only hope so…

I was FINALLY heard by a urologist! Dr Hurt is one of the nicest doctors I've ver come across. I had been seen by Dr Wilson and he was also an amazing Dr. I was sad to learn that he went to the VA hospital. I saw Dr Hurt for the 1st time today. He listened to me, asked questions, made arrangements to have a bladder scope and a CT scan for further testing. He is also sending me to a specialist for a surgery I desperately need. Dr Hurt not only did the bladder and hysterectomy, but found a cyst that was causing pain in my side for a couple of years I had had many test and nothing was showing up. He removed it during surgery and said it was the size of a duck egg. Thank you so much for finding it and getting rid of that pain. It took a little longer for me to heal. He called and checked on me 2 months after my regular checkup time just to see if I was doing better. Thank you so much Dr Hurt.

As if all the 5-star feedbacks aren't enough, here's one more. Dr. Brekelbaum is awesome. In addition to bein an excellent doctor in terms breadth and depth of knowledge, he's also got a fantastic bedside manner, which for me is really important with a doctor. He also talks to you at your level. I brought my wife in for some of my appointments. I have a background in chemistry, biology and medicine and so he talks to me at my level. When my wife doesn't understand (she doesn't have a background in these areas), he's easily able to explain at her level. I think that's important. I find a lot of doctors frequently miss this and talk above their patients' understanding and aren't great at explaining things to them. He is. I couldn't recommend him highly enough!
